Birdhouses in René-Lévesque and d'Ambrosio Parks

The Town of Pincourt inaugurated fifty birdhouses in René-Lévesque Park and d’Ambrosio Park.

This collective project involved about 150 students from the three elementary schools of Pincourt: Notre-Dame-de-Lorette, St.-Patrick, and Edgewater.

This is an initiative of the Design Committee, a volunteer committee of the Town of Pincourt, that aims to enhance the Town’s appearance by revitalizing its public spaces through the addition of public art. The objective of the project was to discover a peaceful place in Pincourt, where it is pleasant to fish, picnic or simply enjoy the tranquility of the water's edge.

The René-Lévesque and Ambrosio Parks are both equipped with a boat ramp and are located on chemin Duhamel.

This project was possible thanks to the involvement of four teachers: Katherine Watt from St.-Patrick, Athanasia Antonopoulos from Edgewater, and Frederic Pierre and Nicole Bélisle from Notre-Dame-de-Lorette. Not to mention the participation of the Design Committee members formed by Mélanie Lafrance, Athanasia Antonopoulos, Laura Labrosse and Denise Bergeron.
