Gift Giving to Underprivileged Students

The Pincourt/NDIP Fire Department, along with the Sûreté du Québec, presented gifts to underprivileged students on the territory.

As part of the Christmas card project, in collaboration with the Sûreté du Québec and the elementary school administration, the fire department sponsored 24 children from underprivileged backgrounds from the three Pincourt elementary schools. The children received a gift valued at $50. The bags were distributed in the schools during the past week.

A total of 24 students from Edgewater, St-Patrick and Notre-Dame-de-Lorette schools received a sweet treat for the holidays.

Thank you to the Sûreté du Québec and the fire department.

About the Christmas card project

The Christmas card project began in 2017 when police officers and staff from the Sûreté du Québec Service Center, from the MRC Vaudreuil-Soulanges, worked closely with municipalities, schools and community organizations to share some happiness as the holiday season approaches. The project targets children in the elementary schools of the MRC Vaudreuil-Soulanges.

Happy Holidays!
