Prevention: self-inspection at home

As a preventive measure, the Emergency and Fire Protection Service recommends self-inspection of smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms in your home.

As a preventive measure and to ensure the continuation of prevention activities, the Emergency and Fire Protection Service invites you to complete a self-inspection form for your smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors at home.

Your safety and that of your loved ones is at stake.

Form to fill out

As of July 30, 2020, preventionists began distributing paper forms.

You have the choice of filling out the form in paper or electronically.

If you decide to fill the form in paper, please return it by using the prepaid envelope.
