Fire Department
The mission of the Emergency and Fire Protection Department is to prevent fires and respond to emergencies.
In addition to providing the necessary equipment and services to fight fires, the department educates citizens and merchants to adopt safe behaviors.
The Emergency and Fire Protection Department is an active member of the Comité régional de prévention des incendies du Suroît, which brings together fire preventionists from several towns.

9-1-1 Calls Whenever someone calls 9-1-1, the Centrale d'appels d'urgence de Chaudière-Appalaches (CAUCA) dispatches the necessary resources by paging firefighters. Once those firefighting personnel have been mobilized, it takes an average of eight minutes to get to the scene of the emergency.
Types of emergencies and response measures:
- Fire (buildings, vehicles, chimneys, forests, electrical installations, garbage cans, etc.)
- Awareness and prevention
- First responders
- Extrication
- Rescue operations (on the water or in forested areas)
- Fire alarms
- Carbon monoxide detectors
- Confined space operations
- Gas leak checks
- Assistance for other municipalities
- Odour checks
- Etc.

Register of persons with a mobility impairment The Pincourt Emergency and Fire Protection Department wants to be able to take action as quickly as possible and in a safe way, if an emergency presents itself to your residence.
In order to do so, a registery of persons with a mobility impairment has been put in place to have adapted emergency measures.Join the register
