SAFETY RULES ACCORDING TO WEATHER CONDITIONSRain The municipal pool may remain open to the public as long as the rain does not obscure the water’s surface. Lifeguards must be able to clearly see the bottom of the pool.
Thunder and lightning In the event of thunder or lightning, the municipal pool must be closed. It may reopen only if there is no thunder or lightning for at least 30 minutes. Additionally, showers will be closed during this period.
Water Quality If there is an abnormal water filtration issue, or following a fecal or vomit incident, the municipal pool must be closed until the situation is resolved, in order to ensure the health and safety of users and staff.
Air Quality The municipal pool must also be closed if weather conditions are poor due to high levels of smoke or smog. Users must evacuate the pool until conditions improve.
Staff Shortage In the event of a staff shortage, lack of supervisors or lifeguards, or urgent events occurring at the pool resulting in insufficient personnel, all pool activities will be cancelled.

Courses and activities In conjunction with the Pincourt Aquatic Club, the Town of Pincourt offers a wide variety of courses and activities for both children and adults.
Courses and activities
To register, you will have to show proof of residence and a progress booklet showing your completed levels.
For junior-level swimming courses, children unable to float unassisted in a 1-metre-deep pool must be accompanied by a parent.

Pincourt Aquatic Club Pincourt Aquatic Club, whose members represent a wide variety of aquatic disciplines, is in charge of supervising the municipal pool in the summer.
The pool is one of the 22 community pools that are members of the Association of Lakeshore Pools (A.L.P.S.). In addition to dispensing courses, Pincourt Aquatic Club organizes activities and friendly meets between A.L.P.S. member pools.

Swimmer's Code: Lane Swimming Choose the swim lane that matches your speed (slow, medium, or fast).
Circulation: Always swim on the right side of the lane. Pass on the left.
Passing: Gently tap the foot of the swimmer in front of you to indicate you wish to pass. That swimmer should maintain their pace without speeding up and move to the right. If the pass occurs at the end of the lane, the person passing has priority for the turn.Pause: Always keep the center of the lane ends clear to allow for turns.
Courtesy: Be courteous to other swimmers and reevaluate whether the chosen lane is appropriate for your pace. -
Swimming Pool rules ADMISSION RULES
- No disrespect toward our staff will be tolerated. Disrespectful behavior will result in expulsion.
- All individuals entering the pool premises must present a piece of identification with their address to validate the applicable rates, whether or not they are swimming.
- Parents coming to pick up their children must remain outside the pool premises; otherwise, entry fees will be charged.
