Day Camp - Summer

Summer camp is now offered on a weekly basis rather than for the entire season. This formula maximizes the number of children enrolled while adapting to demand.

  • Eligible participants

    Pincourt residents only.

    Age: children 4 to 15 years old

    Children under 5 must be register to kindergarten.

    Only children registered to day camp can go to day care.

    NOTE: The Town of Pincourt reserves the right to require proof of residency at any time and to expel without refund any child who presents behavior problems. Places are limited.

    Before you register, you must have created your family file. Creating your family file can be done at any time before the official registration period.

    Here is some additional information for your child's registration, depending on the age of your child the Sport-Plus software will assign you a section. The groups are separated according to your child's school year. No requests for pairings or group changes will be accepted prior to the start of camp.

    Child is currently register to kindergarten: Mini-Grasshopper section

    Child is currently in kindergarten: Grasshopper section

    Child is currently in grades 1 and 2: Section 1

    Child is currently in grades 3 and 4: Section 2

    Child is currently in grades 5 and 6 and secondary 1: Section 3

    Child is currently in secondary 2 or 3: Aspring counselor program

     

    T-Shirt for outings

    Don't forget to select the size of shirt your child will need to wear on camp outings. We keep the same color shirt as last year, if it still fits your child, select the "No shirt" rate.

    Registration procedure:

    1. Go to our registration platform.
    2. Click on "Se connecter" to access your family file*. 
      *If you do not have a family record, you must create one by including all parents and other family members.

      Have on hand:
      - Parent's social insurance number (payer, activities with child care expenses)
      - Children's health insurance number
      - Medical and emergency information
    3. Then proceed with your registration and payment: by credit card (secure site) or by direct debit (specimen check required).

    Important

    Please keep a reminder of your user code and password in order to be able to access your account, register to other activities and print your own receipts.

    *The capacity of the little camp is very limited. First come, first served.

    Daycare service

    The $40 per week fee is payable in advance and is non-refundable. Daily payment is not available.

    Discounts

    Summer package:
    When purchasing 6 weeks of camp for the same child, the 7th week is free.
    (Excluding the little camp and daycare).

    Family package (3 children and more):
    40% discount for the 3rd child or more
    (Excluding the little camp and daycare).

    Refund policy

    • The camp will be refunded 100% if the event is cancelled by the Town.
    • If the request is made before June 19, the Town will refund 100% less a $10 administration fee.
    • From June 22, a refund will be made only on a pro-rata basis for the service rendered less a $10 administration fee if accompanied by appropriate documentation (e.g. medical certificate). The prorating is calculated from the date of receipt of the request.
    • Requests for reimbursement received after the end of an activity will not be accepted.

    Did you know?

    As some of our staff return to school during the last week of camp, the number of spots for the mini-camp is limited. If capacity is reached, we invite you to add your child to the waiting list. We will do our best to accommodate the needs of Pincourt families.

    Procedure in the SPORT PLUS software

    SPORT PLUS

    1. In Sport Plus, enter in the "Search for keywords in organization names" bar:
    Town of Pincourt-Recreation and Community Services

    2. Log in to your file by entering your user code and password;

    3. Select "My Account" in the top blue bar and select "Tax Receipt/Donations";

    4. Click on the button that will be called "Print".

    If you have forgotten your user code/password, click on "USER CODE/PASSWORD FORGOT? It is important that you enter the same email address that you entered when you registered. 

    If you DO NOT have access to a printer, contact us at 514-453-8981, ext. 229, or by email at loisirs@villepincourt.qc.ca, and we will send you your statement by email.

  • Support program for children with special needs

    This program is intended for children residing in the Town of Pincourt, aged 4 to 14 years, who require additional support to fully participate in day camp and daycare activities, whether due to a disability, developmental, communication, behavioural, or adaptation challenges.

    The program offers access to an accompanier to promote the child’s participation, safety, integration, and well-being within the group. Depending on individual needs and camp operations, some children may be paired together.

     

    Eligibility conditions:

    • The child must be a resident of the Town of Pincourt;
    • The child must meet the age requirements for the day camp program;
    • The child requires additional support to participate in camp activities (e.g.: assistance with routines, transitions, communication, mobility, emotional or behavioural regulation, etc.).

    Needs that may be considered (examples)
    Without limitation, the program may support children experiencing, among other things:

    • Communication challenges (speech/language);
    • Hearing or visual impairments;
    • Intellectual or physical disabilities;
    • Mental health issues;
    • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD);
    • Behavioural issues or difficulties with emotional and behavioural regulation.

    Procedures to follow:

    1. Register and pay the required fees, following the regular registration process for the day camp.
    2. Submit the child's needs assessment form during the registration period before April 15 to the following address: campdejour@villepincourt.qc.ca. After this date, please still send us your form; if our resources permit, your child may be admitted to the program.
    3. The day camp team will contact you regarding the next steps.
