The program " Your school bag like everyone else " is intended for low-income families to receive free material for school. Offered by the Foundation for the children of Vaudreuil-Soulanges.

Since 2005, the project has been helping to...

• Reduce back-to-school stress for both parents and children by
  providing school supplies to underprivileged families in Vaudreuil Soulanges.
• Promote, among parents, a feeling of being up to their parental role and
  pride in responding adequately to their children's needs
• To be like everyone else and therefore avoid the difference, the stigmatization among
  (since to live well with difference, it must be a choice!)
• To enter into a positive relationship with the families (for the practitioners)
• Inform and register families in the Accès Loisirs Vaudreuil Soulanges program

 Who? 

• Children in kindergarten 4 to grade 6
• Low-income families, based on the low-income cut-off

 How? 

1. Complete the attached form by June 27, 2024.
2.  Provide the following proof of income:
   -2023 Notice of Assessment for each adult in the family
   OR
   -Claim booklet for income security recipients
    
3. Send your application to the address on the attached form

• Certificate of $60 for school supplies at
  Éditions Vaudreuil
• Certificate of reimbursement of school material to the
  Commission scolaire ou au Centre de services scolaires of a value of $60
• Pair of sneakers
• Fall coat
• Pair of winter boots
• Snowsuit (including toque, neck warmer and mittens)

Please note that children must be present to receive a pair of espadrilles, a pair of winter boots, a fall coat and a snowsuit.  Junior size 16 is the largest size available. A notice of appointment will be sent to the family as soon as the request is complete and accepted by the analysis committee. Distribution will take place on August 20 and 21, 2024.
