île Perrot's 350th - A Collective Memory
Île Perrot 350th commemorative benches
On October 18, the four mayors of the towns on Île Perrot went on a tour to inaugurate the commemorative benches for the 350th anniversary of the island.
This initiative was facilitated by the Comité du 350e de l'île Perrot and the Société d'histoire et de généalogie de l'île Perrot to leave a legacy for the 350th celebration.
The Pincourt bench, located in Bellevue Park, commemorates the granting of the Moreau fief, the establishment of the Daoust farm and the presence of First Nations at the Quinchien rapids.
