Residential Pool Safety
As of July 1, 2021, the Residential Pool Safety Regulation has been amended. All pools, regardless of when they were installed, must now comply with the protective measures of the Regulation.
Owners of pools built before November 1, 2010 had initially been grandfathered in. Said pool owners now have until July 1, 2023 to comply with the By-law.
As municipal officials will be responsible for enforcing the By-law, pool owners will receive a letter in the near future advising them of the changes.
