• Check the colour of your cold water before using it;
• Avoid doing laundry if the water is discoloured;
• Let the cold water run for a few minutes, until it runs clear;
• Repeat the process with the different taps in your home.

The discolouration is temporary and should disappear after the crews have completed the work in your area. The water remains safe to drink despite possible discolouration.
